Hotel Kingsgate Te Anau

The rooms are of a reasonable size with many rooms refurbished in 2006. The standard room has a queen and single bed. rooms have cable TV, tea/coffee facilities and refrigerator. The Bluestone restaurant and bar is a relaxed standard hotel restaurant. It takes advantage of some excellent local produce. Two storey low rise building. A small sized lobby. The Kingsgate hotel is of a good budget traveller category. Rooms are comfortable rather than luxurious. The great attraction of Te anau is its proximity to some of the best hiking in the world, within a world Heritage status national park which includes both Milford sound and Doubtful sound.
